Through the Rapid Employment Program, the Career Center highlights paid, entry-level opportunities from trusted employers with accelerated hiring timelines so you can get to work sooner.

Why apply?

  • Fast-track hiring: Start working in 30 days or less.
  • Paid opportunities: Every position in the program is paid.
  • Little or no experience required: All positions are entry-level and require little to no prior experience.
  • Trusted employers: All positions are posted through SJSU Handshake and reviewed through Career Center employer guidelines.
  • Flexible opportunities: Positions may include part-time, seasonal, temporary, and other immediate hiring needs.

How to Get Started

  1. Log in to your SJSU Handshake account.
  2. Select Explore from the left navigation menu.
  3. Select San Jose State Collections.
  4. Open the Rapid Employment Program Collection.
  5. Review available positions and apply directly through Handshake.
