Who Can Use the Career Closet?
Current SJSU students are eligible to receive:
- One professional outfit per semester
- Clothing to keep (not borrow)
- Walk-in service during operating hours
What You’ll Find
The Career Closet includes a variety of business and business casual clothing, including:
- Suits
- Blazers and sport coats
- Dress shirts and blouses
- Dress pants
- Dresses and skirts
- Ties, belts, and dress socks
- Professional shoes

Clark Hall, Suite 140 (Enter through the main entrance and turn left.)

Before You Visit
- No appointment is necessary.
- Clothing is available while supplies last.
- You’re welcome to try items on before making your selection.
- Outfit availability varies by size and donations.
Donate Professional Clothing
Individual clothing donations are temporarily paused while we organize our inventory. We appreciate your support and look forward to accepting donations again in the future!
When donations resume, we accept clean, ready-to-wear professional clothing in good condition, including:
- Suits and blazers
- Dress shirts and blouses
- Dress pants, dresses, and skirts
- Ties, belts, and socks
- Professional shoes
If you represent a business or corporate partner with a large-scale donation of new or gently-used professional clothing, we are still able to accept those contributions. Please email careercloset@sjsu.edu to coordinate your donation.
