Make a meaningful difference in students’ professional development by engaging in our professional mentoring opportunities.

Mentoring Opportunities with SJSU²

With SJSU², you can engage with students and recent alumni in 3 primary ways:

(1) Professional Mentoring & Meetups (PMM) Program

Apply to be matched with a student mentee based on your professional experience and their career interests. Meet with your mentee at least 3 times/semester (30 min each) to help them achieve specific professional-development goals.

(2) Community / Quick Connections

Post your professional profile to connect with students and recent alumni for one-time, informational interviews (15-30min). Students reach out via SJSU² to request connections and schedule.

3) Other Opportunities

Support students’ career education by serving as a panelist or speaker at a Career Center event. Can also volunteer to host job shadow or company tour.
